The panelists will each make action-oriented recommendations on how to improve economic outcomes for women in the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and more specifically SDG number 5 which calls on governments to achieve gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls by 2030. The platform is designed to provide participants with the opportunity to exchange practical solutions to the common challenges faced by women and to explore business perspectives on how the private sector can collaborate more effectively with the public sector to break down the barriers to women’s economic empowerment in the workplace
