President Sally Kader was invited to participate in a special event organized by the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC) entitled “Voices of Victims of Human Trafficking: Readings from River of Flesh and other Stories”.
The event took place on 3rd May 2016, and included readings and interactive discussions with award-winning actress and director Rosanna Arquette; Deputy Executive Director of UNWOMEN Lakshmi Puri; Ambassador Laure E. Flores of Panama; Ambassador Katalin Bogyay of Hungary; and actress Reshma Shetty.
