President Sally Kader was invited to participate in the UN Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development.
Habitat III is the United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development, which offers member states an opportunity to discuss a new urban agenda that will focus on policies and strategies that could result in effectively harnessing the forces behind the growing trend of urbanization. It focuses the important challenge of how cities, towns and villages are planned and managed, in order to fulfill their role as the drivers of sustainable development, and hence shaping the implementation of global development and climate change goals.
