The Nishan’s World Women’s Forum at the Fifth Nishan Forum on World Civilizations in Qufu, China

IFPSD President Sally Kader was a special guest and distinguished speaker at the Nishan’s World Women’s Forum held alongside the “Fifth Nishan Forum on World Civilizations” in Qufu, China. President Kader’s speech addressed the elimination of discrimination and violence against women globally, as the theme this year was “Women’s Empowerment and Global Sustainable Development”.  The committee invited various people from the United Nations and notable individuals from many nations to discuss issues facing women of the world today.

After holding over 30 “civilization dialogues” on issues addressing all countries, the Fifth Nishan Forum on World Civilizations was concluded on the afternoon of September 27. The 263 scholars from over 20 countries and regions reached a consensus that the integration and mutual learning among civilizations would promote the building of a community of a shared future for mankind. Hosted by the People’s Government of Shandong Province, the theme of the Fifth Nishan Forum was “Integrated Progress, Shared Future: Integration of Civilizations toward a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind”.
