12th Conference Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue

Given the increasingly hostile global sentiment on Islam and religion overall, USFMEP recognizes, now more than ever, the need for sustained interfaith dialogue including various communities. In December, President Salwa Kader organized a roundtable discussion entitled “The Changing Dynamics of Islamophobia and its Implications on Peaceful and Inclusive Societies”.

Alongside various activists and advocates, President Sally Kader analyzed the impact Islamophobia is currently having on the world at large, and brainstormed for solutions to combat the insidious effects such religious intolerance might have. The USFMEP remains committed to eliminating religious discrimination and interfaith hatred, and encourages open-mindednes and understanding between the different religions through its dialogues.
